The environmentally friendly SILK-FINISH COTTON 28 thread is made of 100% fine fiber Egyptian cotton. It is perfect not only for classic sewing, but also for various types of quilting and embroidery. The seams of the thick thread create a decorative effect, highlighted by its bright colors. As one of the thickest threads produced by Mettler, it can be used to trim buttonholes and work with thick fabrics such as denim. As a result of the mercerization process, the thread has become more resistant to tearing and shrinkage, and it can be ironed safely.
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certificate confirms that SILK-FINISH COTTON 28 has been manufactured in accordance with internationally recognized environmental requirements.
